Whenyou restrict someone on Instagram, two things will happen. 1. Their comments will be not be visible to other people until you approve them. When the user in question leaves a comment underneath one of your posts, Instagram will "hold" that comment until you can review it. If the comment is OK, you can approve it.
Thisoption will be displayed when you select to hide the number of likes on your post publicly. Here are the current measurements that the Instagram app uses to determine how to display the number of likes: Below 100 likes: shown as "others". Below 1,000 likes: shown as "hundreds of others". Instagramdoesn't have a feature yet that allows its users to hide who they're following on Instagram. That is, if you are account is public. However, you can restrict who can see who you're following if you keep your account private. Other ways to "hide" who you're following include restricting a user's account and blocking a user.
